Hi, my name is Ashley Kelliher. I am 14 years old and participating in this year’s Jett Ride.  The Jett Ride is a 500 mile bike ride though MA, NY, and VT that raises money and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The ride starts on July 22nd and will return July 30th.

I am participating in this event because a friend and classmate that I have known since 1st grade has this condition and I want to help raise money to find the cure for Duchenne.

Previously I have raised money and participated in other events like triathlons and 5k’s to support DMD. This is a whole new event for me. I have never done anything like this before. My older cousin did the first Jett ride at the same age as me and inspired me to participate in this year’s ride.

I am hoping that you will support me and the Duchenne community with a donation. All donations will be supporting the Jett foundation and are tax deductible. Donating through this website is an easy and safe way to donate.

Thank you for helping me support the Jett foundation, please visit my firstgiving page.
