Today we biked 78 miles from Clarkston, WA to Kooskia, ID. The roads we encountered were rough and had little shoulders to bike on. As far as the weather goes, it has been extremely warm. You can literally feel the sun’s rays beating against your limbs… The views we saw made up for the sun though. It really has been absolutely stunning the whole ride.
We arrived in Kooskia around midday and cleaned up and took showers. For dinner, Dan prepared a delicious pot of pasta and rice! We ate and visited with the pastor of the church we’re staying in. We learned a lot about mini donkeys and about the tough mountain we are getting ready to climb tomorrow. Ezra is pretty excited about the climb. We are going to try to turn in early tonight so we can get an early start for the constant incline tomorrow.
