Good Morning,
We arrived safely in Middleton last evening. I totally spaced on sending this email as we immediately met Candace Miller and her family at the Hilton Hotel. It was a very good ride day from Wisconsin Dells even though we got lost out the gate trying the find the tiny country road to ride on AND we encountered a detour because a road was washed out (several miles of it around a lake). We took a small free ferry across a lake into lunch and we were invited (in advance) to eat at a real Wisconsin Dairy Farm with 350 head of cattle. Craig, the owner was gracious in letting us use his lunch room. Our staff person, Sara, arranged the location through her sister, a large animal veterinarian.

We are off to the Trek Bicycle World Headquarters for lunch and a tour today. We are shuttling the riders 40-50 miles up the road to stage for our entry into Milwaukee tonight. Tomorrow MICHIGAN.
Happy trails.

Wow! We actually got up at 4:15 AM, packed, and made the ferry line by 5:15 AM. We loaded the ferry in Milwaukee and slept our way across lake michigan today. arriving at Muskegon, MI around 9:30, after the time zone change, we rode to lunch at a local park via a rail trail. Finishing the day in Rockford, we scurried to the MCP health club for showers and to the church facility for a pizza party. The room was decorated with balloons and posters. It is like an imaginary world with foosball tables, ping pong, lots off couchs, air hocky and lots and lots of space. All happy here.

Tomorrow we ride to St. Johns, MI and another amazing day. Cool morning temps and warm afternoon temps with blue skies made for a great ride day. 50 miles.
Tomorrow is 58 miles.
HAPPY TRAILS.

Everyone in and safe to St. Johns, MI. We had a great time with the Kiwanis Club, some families with sons with Duchenne (including 2 from the 2007 JettRide: Karen and Sara). Great food and great times for all. Everyone at the high school asleep! Leader Sara left today…Melissa arriving on sunday! The Mayor is riding out with us tomorrow as well as a friend of 07′ rider Gillians from Bike and Build (he saw us on the road).
