Greetings from Menomonie, WI. Today we rode 48 miles from Hudson, WI. Adam Yoerg, a 2010 JettRider, and our host last night was our JettRider for the day today, and we are all very sad to see him go!

The ride today was beautiful, all on country roads – with very low traffic, and much lush green to see. We made great time today, making it to camp around 3:30pm. We are staying at a camp ground in Menomonie, that sits right on a lake. After getting to camp, unpacking the trailer and setting up tents we all went down and swam around. Arlen’s crew was cooking tonight, so no surprise we had rice & beans, but it was very filling and delicious.

According to Colby we saw 10 dead animals. There might have been 11 if John had not saved a turtle from the road! We also made no wrong turns – thanks Adam for the great directions!!! A few falls were taken, but nothing too serious! I’m very impressed with how well everyone is riding and keeping up!

We are all just hanging out for the night now, all chores are done. Everyone is getting along great, and working really well together.

Sorry no guest blog tonight – almost out of battery on the computer.
Until tomorrow…
Colleen
