After the exciting day we had yesterday, it was hard to wake this morning and leave the Henegars. We hope to see Braedan, Tammy, Scott and Chelsea soon! After a quick breakfast the team was on their way to Wellington.

The 80 mile day went by very slowly. Julie was surprised by a squirrel on the bike path in the morning, then Julianne found a pizza place in Bellevue and the riders ate a delicious lunch. We got to pastor Paul’s home in Wellington around 5:00. For dinner he made us delicious chicken, steak, roasted peppers, salad, smoothie and mashed potatoes. It was a feast! Pastor Paul is also an avid biker, he is doing an MS ride this weekend and will wear the JettRide jersey we gave him. At the end of the night Ezra and Kaitlyn took a ride on one of Paul’s tandem bikes. The team is very tired after the long day.
