We arrived in Philadelphia yesterday afternoon and since only having to bike 20 miles today, we slept in and then walked around the city. We saw the liberty bell (through a window since no one felt like waiting in line) and Dan and Bruce walked to the art museum since the location was used in a movie they liked.
As the jettride winds down, we can’t help but reflect on how amazing the past couple of months have been. We have had the opportunity to meet over a dozen incredible boys and young men dealing with Duchenne and their families. Although every one is different, the love for life is evident in every boy we have met and we are blessed to have been able to meet and hang out with them. As for seeing the U.S. on bicycle… well, the only word that comes to mind is absolutely beautiful. We will never forget the many memories made on this years jettride. We would also like to say a special thank you to each and every one who helped make the jettride possible. It is because of you that we are able to spread awareness of Duchenne year after year. With that said, we are ecstatic to ride into Point Pleasant tomorrow! We hope to see you there!!
