Hello from Black River Falls, WI! The JettRiders rode 57 miles today from Eau Claire. The riding was a bit hilly (especially compared to yesterday’s rail trail), but mostly on country roads with beautiful scenery!

We are staying at a church here in Black River Falls, and went to a local pool for swimming, water slides and showers. We ate dinner at the fairgrounds. They had rib eye sandwiches, burgers, sweet corn and ice cream!  They also had a mechanical bull, though no riders tried, and an area to see/pet the animals!

We came back to the church and played “ninja” a very fun game introduced by one of our LITs, Ty, and now everyone is settling down, resting up for a long day.

Tomorrow will be our longest day of riding yet, 82 miles into the Wisconsin Dells. On the bright side we have our first day off, and even better, I’m driving the support vehicle! Lucky me :)

Until tomorrow….
Colleen
