This morning started with an amazing breakfast prepared by Paul of the Methodist Church in Wellington, OH.  A special thanks to Paul for opening up his home to us and generously hosting us.

We biked a total of 61 miles on mostly smooth roads. Kaitlyn recieved her first flat of the trip about midway through the ride.  About 15 minutes later we were off again.  Later in the ride, we stopped at Ben Narmore’s house and visited him and his family. We ate lunch and chatted for a while until we had to hit the road again. Unfortunately, Ben has recently had surgery and wasn’t able to go for a ride in the duet bike, but we promised we would be back next year and go for a ride then.

After leaving the Narmore’s, we jumped on the Toepath Trail and met up with Mark Cozy, City Manager of Canal Fulton, and rode the reminder of the ride in his company. We stopped at Oser’s Ice Cream Shop and enjoyed a tasty ice cream cone. After we made it to the rec center in Massillon, OH we showered and relaxed until dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings! Tomorrow we head to Minerva, OH, and we are so excited to see the Rudd family!
