Good morning. The riders are doing a bit of yoga and stretching as we prepare to depart for the Mall of America (MOA) and the start of our journey. We had a great family gathering last night as several families joined us for a pasta dinner. We each introduced ourselves and shared how we came to our common community bond, DMD.

I think we have a very special group here. Everyone is enthusiastic and ready to work together.

We have 38 miles today on our way to Hudson, WI and the Wooten family. We have food, swimming, and showers in store.

I met Annette yesterday at the MOA. I was in Caribou Coffee in line for a latte while the riders were strolling the mall. A woman Annette and her son moved in front of me and turned to ask if I was in line. I said that I was but she can go in front. She thanked me and when she was ordering she turned and asked what I wanted and bought my latte. Twenty minutes later after talking about the JettRide, cycling, etc. I thanked her again as I departed thinking to myself that she made my day. Sweet.

All for now.

Arlen
