Day 10 – Liam

Yesterday we biked from Rockford to Saint Johns, MI. Although we only did 60 miles it felt like a century because of all the dirt roads we were riding on. The landscape was hilly at the beginning of the day but it eventually turned into flat rocky terrain .
When we finally got into Saint Johns a few nice families had put together a picnic for us. It was so refreshing to see people come out to help our cause. A few of the families had boys with Duchenne. After the picnic a nice woman named Bonnie brought us to the local air conditioned high school where we stayed in the music room. It was nice to get an actual shower!
